| WARRANTY AND RETURNS INFORMATION Warranty Information RMA/Technical Support Hours Monday through Friday 9AM – 5PM Note: ANY item returned to The Computer Center as a defective item will be tested, and all products found non-defective will be charged a minimum bench fee of $10 in addition to shipping charges for returning the item to the customer. The Computer Center technicians will notify the customer prior to returning the item to the customer. Any items returned for any reason MUST first receive
a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
These can be obtained either by calling 317-291-9211 or e-mail at tcc@thecomputercenter.com.
Once you have received the RMA number, it must be clearly marked on
the outside of the package you are returning.
Returned items without this number visible WILL BE REFUSED. All items returned for replacement ore refund must be in the original packaging including all manuals, software, and cabling. ALL REFUNDS WILL BE DEDUCTED A 15% FEE AND SHIPPING. If the shipping price is not listed, the flat fee on most items (including hard drives) is $9.95. Both of these fees will be assessed regardless of the current working state of the product. There are no charges involved with replacement, with the exception of the non-defective product being returned as stated above. All refunds and replacements must be accompanied by a copy of the original receipt. No warranty for physically damaged items. THIS INCLUDS IMPROPER PACKAGING AND SHIPPING OF RETURN ITEMS. If the packaging would have allowed the item to be damaged during transit back to us, we will refuse your package and your WARRANTY WILL, BE CONSIDRED VOID. The item most affected by this policy will be a hard drive, so please make sure you have at least 2” of packaging material surrounding the hard drive. Removal of any stickers will void all warranties. Any software problems are not covered by warranty. The Computer Center is not responsible for any data or time loss. All customers are responsible for backing up their own data. Warranty period begins on the original invoice date, only valid for the original purchaser (if listed under a company, any agent of the company can request warranty support). Please be advised that if the replacement product is not in stock (either permanently or temporarily), your item will be sent to the manufacturer for replacement. All items returned for a refund must be returned within 30 days, as The Computer Center will not issue any credits or refunds after 30 days. There are no refunds on freight, special ordered items, software, labor, insurance, or customs charges. All refunds will either be credited to the customer’s credit card or a company check will be mailed within 10 business days. Any discrepancy such as missing items, shipping damage, or incorrect items must be reported on the same day of receiving an item. For any damage during shipping, the customer will need to file the claim with the shipping carrier immediately. We will not cross-ship items for any reason with the exception of an advance replacement. Our advance replacement policy involves the purchase of a new item including shipping and handling. The customer may then return the defective item at their convenience, and the full price of the item will be refunded except the shipping charge. ALL RMA items will be returned via UPS ground. Expedited shipping is available on these items for an additional cost. There will be a return charge of $25 on all returned checks. A charge of 1.75% per month (21% annually) shall be charged on all sums not paid when due. There are NO exceptions to the above policies. |
